Biography
As a former Michiganian in elementary school, his interest in global activities stuck to him the whole middle school and high school days.
His interest became a reality when he began participating in Model UN activities in Rokko High School (Kobe, Japan).
After several years of training, he wins a position as a the All-Japan delegation to the Global Committee International Model United Nations Conferences, one of the most prestigious international MUN conferences for high schoolers.
As a sophomore in high school, he became a part of a student delegation to Timor Leste for the Genesys project hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Timor Leste in Japan.
However, he changed his course of studies when entering his university, choosing the medical school as his faculty.
He began pursuing his interests by linking his prior experience in the field of diplomacy and medicine, therefore beginning his training in the field of global health, and then in the field of epidemiology as a member of the MD Scientist Training Program (MDSTP) at Osaka University Medical School.
